Creonic Shows 100 Gbps Polar Decoder in International SENDATE-TANDEM Research Project
OpenCores has certified the open source
Viterbi decoder from Creonic. The open source platform for IP cores
awards the OCCP certificate (OpenCores Certified Project) only if an
abundance of quality criteria are satisfied. The core has to be stable,
and a self-checking test environment along with comprehensive
documentation are to be provided in order to receive the OCCP
certificate. Currently only 20 IP cores out of 900 are distinguished
with the OCCP label.
The Creonic Viterbi decoder is published under the GPL license and is adaptable to many standards of communications, e.g., GSM, UMTS, CDMA, WiMAX, and WiFi. The AXI4-Stream interface allows for a simple integration.
